It has so many unique features. I hear the language has preserved quite well over the years, even so that Icelandic folk can understand ancient Viking texts, or Old Norse.
Edit to add, that cats played a huge part in Viking mythology. Just to stay in the spirit of this thread

It’s crazy and I can’t explain it but I have never been able to relate to a animal more then this cat Nova and it’s a very unlikely match. I was so happy to go find her after work because there is a gnarly storm right now and I literally carried her in from this ridiculous storm because she is stubborn and was like taking refuge under these bushes. Glad she can chill tonight and be safe and Hang out with me while I watch the movie straight outta Compton about NWA!

Update from the clinic: No complications post surgery so far, he started eating a bit. Now we wait for poo and pray the bowel works and the suture lasts.
I won’t visit him allthough they say I could come during opening hours. Animals don’t understand the concept of visiting and it would cause unnecessary stress on him.
Instead I proceed with cleaning the house and windows and arranging some climbing aids so he can reach his prefered spots without jumping.
Missi is irritated but takes it ok-ish. Lots of extra cuddles for her and the dog.

@Tragicfarinelli My daughter found a video reading of that book online and we watched it last year!!! We love all the cats equally
@bluekoolaid_88 Have you heard of the slow blink from cats? It’s supposedly how they say ‘I love you’. I think it’s more of a trust thing tho. Like being able to let their guard down around you. Pay attention when she’s looking at you. Or you can do it first to show her your feelings and see if she reciprocates. She probably will. I realized all my cats do this after learning about it.
