That’s the downfall of rescuing cat’s from a animal shelter…the last time I had a kitten was 30 years ago

Water paused from his maniacal stalking of the piece of string I brought him long enough for some morning cuddles.
Which is when I noticed his chin acne acting up. Does anyone have cat chin acne tips for a hard headed kitty? If it involves the word “bath” I’m out, I’ve grown quite fond of intact skin.

Yes. Mavy and B both got chin acne after the move. It lasted longer than we liked.

We did get a lotion from the vet. A prescription thing. But the wipes they gave us we were able to find on line too. Amazon of course.
Look for the Chlorhexidine in the wipes.
Thats Mal-A-Ket wipes. I see there’s a glare @TrustyBird
B ended up getting on a steroid regiment for ten days or so. But hopefully yours won’t come to that. It was a bit of a battle. We even wash B’s chin once or twice.
Maybe try the wipes first and see what happens.
