Dexter - this little guy came from the shelter with chronic ear & eye infections - he is a gentle soul. He will run and hide if he sees us wearing shoes - sadly this is mostly likely from previous abuse. After almost 2 years, he has really come along in trusting us! It’s so rewarding to build a bond & relationship with these little guys, so true when it is said they are our forever friends!!

Azula rolls in the dirt/sand 100% of the time she is outside. There are quite a few reasons cats do this, like attention seeking, play, cool off, help with fleas, marking their territory, and to help their gut biome! I generally dust her off before she is allowed back in

Water in the window. We have started the boys on a healthier food but we weighed the Birdman last night and that champ is 21 lbs as is. 1st goal is 15 for him, and for me. I know I’m the opposable thumb in this scenario.
