I have 5 cats :cat::heart_eyes:

Kiki, my OG lady! She’s my 5 year old half munchkin. The next 3 I adopted as stray kittens- Mew, my nearly 2 year fat, orange jerk. Mew’s 1 year old half sister, Dottie, the runt. Their cousin, Socks, (both their mamas gave birth within the same 24 hours and I was there for them!) she’s the sweetest. And Jinx, our black baby we adopted from the outdoors a year ago.

I’m a “new user” so I can’t post pictures yet :sob:

Minky alternates between being the most relaxed cuddle bug ever and a crazed zoomie fiend :joy::smiling_face_with_three_hearts: she has also stopped hissing at milo, realised he poses 0 threat and the other day started attacking his feet when we were all relaxing (he carried on sleeping :laughing:) hopefully they will end up good friends :victory_hand::heart:

Trying not to panic or assume the worst but this is the first night in months or evening that nova was not waiting by my door when I got home or in the area.! I’m in a strange position where I don’t know what to do because she primarily was an outside cat.. What am I supposed to lock her inside and leave her inside all day long.. She doesn’t like to be cooped up but also I’ve been forgetting to get a collar for her with my number on it .. Hopefully she is just exploring somewhere or sleeping somewhere. She has a couple spots that she goes to and I did not see her there tonight. I hope she comes around. But to be honest I hate that I’ve become attached to her… I’m probably worrying for no reason.. Really the only times I leave her in my apartment when I go to work as if it’s going to storm and regardless I’ll leave food and water outside no matter what. It’s 8 PM in the past she would’ve come around well before now

Also it doesn’t look like any of the food was touched that I left out this morning and last time I saw her it was about 5:30 AM when I let her out and went to work

Sending hugs @bluekoolaid_88 a break from routine behaviors can be scary but luna is a tough street cat. Have some hope and dont worry yourself too much tonight.

Thanks I hear you! Normally right now I would be watching a movie or something or reading but I’m just going to do that on my patio till about 12 and hope for the best.. If it was winter time I would just leave my door open but I don’t want a bunch of bugs flying in my apartment.. But you’re right she is a survivor and she survive this long .. Probably has gone days without eating and been through some shit and that’s why I really love this cat because I understand

@bluekoolaid_88 we are waiting too. Kitties do this, worrying their owners. And will hopefully show back up when they feel like it. I’m sorry that she’s missing right now and I know that you’re missing her and I hope she is home soon..

@Tragicfarinelli I had a pet tarantula for about three years. His name was Harold. I fed him scorpions. Also mice.
I don’t know if he was a girl or a boy.
He was a pet. I kept him in a big plastic sweater box with holes in it.

Lots of times in the old days, I don’t know if it still happens or not.
there would be thousands of tarantulas on the highways everywhere. It was males looking or going towards a female to get in their burrow to mate. Not migration or so so this article says. I’m going to try to blur it after I post it.

I would not pick Harold up and let him crawl all over me, but I wasn’t afraid of him either. If I see a tarantula nowadays, I’m not afraid of it at all, they are not going to hurt me.

And they are going to try to stay away from me.

I don’t know why she says that the males only live a year when they say that the tarantulas live 30 years
