Alright cat people. I’ve set out a yurt to see if the little guy who prowls with my boys at night is in need of a home. No food, I just want to see if he needs a roof and some water.
The structure is zip tied under one of my patio chairs because we are expecting storms this weekend. Birdie is standing guard.
this weekend I couldn’t move without all three getting mad. Love that they are all getting along somewhat lol. They secretly love each other
Haven’t done a cat update in a hot minute. Both my boys are thriving. They are three years old in 5 months time
where did the time go? Neither are lap cats specifically, but both very much demand comfort and safety and love on their terms. I respect that greatly and feel privileged to be their safe space to soothe.
I was tidying and left the room for one minute… Bluey helping…
When I got the hoover out (aka big scary cat eating monster) they clubbed together for safety… ![]()

It’s meant to be 30c here by the weekend so I expect lots of balcony activity to happen. I’ll dig their UV sheet out to hang up to protect them from the sun and I’m sure they will appreciate any breeze they can get.
I forgot to put away the pillow my daughter‘s friend used at the overnight stay. Mila likes it so much that I‘ll need to leave it there forever.
I think you must know if you had put it there for the cat it would have been ignored…lovely picture.
My dudes.
Water on the right and the big Bird on the left. I cycle through nicknames for both of them but since Birdie has taken to sleeping with me every night and looking up at me lovingly every morning when we wake up his current nickname is… The Birdman of Palcatraz. The world must know.
