I think it’s not easy to eat ore drink when you cannot smell ore taste it  I hear it can take a while before it returns. Covid sucks big time.

Yeah my coworker had covid in March 2020 & still doesn’t have her taste or smell back… I am hoping that doesn’t happen to me!

Thanks everybody. Lab work results on Friday. New vet thought she looked great and just a little too fluffy, since it has messed w her jumping.
( She’s not fat, she’s fluffy ) .
( She was given two and a half months to live late June and has thrived since.) Bye bye healthy kitten food and hello senior healthy. Yes the meds have made her eat. Thanks all for your continuing thoughts. Meow!!

Oh I understand I am going through suboxone withdrawal and Covid at the same time. However Covid gave me my start! I slept for three days straight and that’s how I decided if it’s been three days what’s another 9! I had already made it that far so I am in it for the long haul with Covid as well! I just keep trying to tell my brain it’s Covid symptoms and not withdrawal! I hope you feel better I took Tylenol pm and slept as much as I could

I also have a “fluffy” cat. Except he is short haired. So it is really hard to see past the fat! He also weighs a ton when you pick him up. Does fluff weigh that much?!

She weighed in at 12.8 pounds
She’s able to jump on most ( everything) she wants.

Im losing my mind of boredom here in COVID quarantine. But I am grateful to have such an attentive and CUTE nurse. He is always making sure I’m cuddled properly for maximum healing power.

She is a dear. Maybe she is having hip issues. I know my kitties as they aged almost all of them were having issues with their jumps. We ended up getting some cat stairs and once they got used to them (it can take a little assistance), they used them. Just a thought.

The boys…almost friends now. Clifford is still getting used to rambunctious little Ziggy. Note Clifford’s side eye!

My kitty’s bloodwork and urinalysis came out “perfect”. Vet said she was only “slightly” overweight. Her dry food is at 1/4 healthy senior and 3/4 healthy kitten right now aiming for 1/2 and 1/2 because she’s so healthy on the healthy kitten ( Iams). She’s portion controlled at 1/4 cup a day. Before it was free eats on the dry. I put something where she could jump up on the bed which she’s using sometimes. Her big jump that she makes she’s able to do it without any help. The vet and I decided since she’s doing so great and the jumping problem is not really significant to not give her any medicine for it. She’s very thankful for all of the support that she’s gotten. We’ve gone a long way from being very sick and “having 2 1/2 months to live” to really doing so great.
