Chair at the office is occupied
Prince napping next to me, and so he didn’t feel left out, I took one of Wolfie too, though he rarely looks at the camera, he’s only recently started joining us on the bed occasionally, he’s been with us 4 years in January.
So adorable! Baby kittens are so precious. I’m now going to turn into a pile of goo.
Yup there’s 7 of them born from 6pm to about 930pm
@Dazercat Eric, this is for you
“Let’s go to the cat café” @Milele said.
“It’ll be fun!” She said.
So I’m enjoying my cappuccino with this view. All fun and games, indeed.
So Prince went in for his surgery to have his teeth removed today. The vet just called, unfortunately his jaw became unstable and they’ve had to wire it and discontinue the surgery. So now he has all four canines still, and his lower row of smaller teeth, the rest have been removed, but now he’s only allowed soft food for the next 6 weeks, then he’s got to go back in and be gassed so they can remove the wire. I’m really struggling to cope with this news if I’m honest. I’ve been praying and crossing myself all night and day, I’m so upset, my poor baby. She said he’s just waking up from the anaesthetic now so I can’t go and collect him until 5pm. I’m so sad and keep having waves of emotion flooding through me and it really doesn’t feel good.
Will he be okay?
Aww; he’ll feel better when he sees you. Poor baby…
aw im so sorry. poor prince! but he will be fine. and all the mushy food he can eat !
Thank you both, I wish I could swap places with him, I hate the thought of him being in pain and scared because he isn’t with me, and my disordered mind is catastrophizing the situation and telling me he will refuse to eat due to pain and die from malnutrition I just really hope he eats when I get him home in about 90mins, that will settle my anxious thoughts and fears
That looks like Mavy. But it’s definitely not Mavy’s butt. I know my cats butt
You guys have a cat cafe where you live? I’ve read about one somewhere in the states. But I’ve never had the pleasure of going to one.
Love it.
I get it completely. remember cats are resilient and he has you to look out for him.
How about milk, can he drink that?
Yes, there is small one in downtown. Usually there’s an entrance fee to such cafes (I know, right!?) but this one doesn’t, yet you have to order something, at least a cuppa. They have four domestic cats, not any particular breed. They are allowed everywhere and one will steal from your plate if you’re not paying attention. This one kept making sneaks attacks on @Milele’s plate.
Cats are lactose intolerant but I give them special cat milk at bedtime every night, it has the lactose removed. I’m just so worried, I’m scared that he’s going to look injured and I might burst into tears in front of lots of people. 30mins and I’ll be making my way to the vets
Oh poor Prince. I’m sorry the surgery wasn’t a total success. I feel you pain. That’s terrible. But at least you get Prince back later today and he will be home with you. And you can love on him and care for him.
This may not help at all but sharing experiences is what we do right?
We took Minnie in for a tumor removal. A big one. Biggest scar I’ve ever seen. Wifey and I were in tears when she came out. Then we got the news they didn’t get all the margins of the tumor and that we’d have to bring her back down after she got fully recovered and they would have to do it again. It was the worst 2 or 3 weeks knowing we would have to do that to her again. And you can’t explain it to them. Well, she recovered and we brought her down again to get cut up and they were able to get all the rest of the tumor. It’s so freakin hard with pets sometimes.
Just love him and pet him and we’ll continue to pray for him and you.
