She is doing so well! I love how happy she is. Good luck with the tree situation. I had a rambunctious kitten years ago and we had to set the tree up in the bedroom behind a closed door for years because he’d climb it and it would fall over. He’d knock off all the ornaments and try to eat the tree  he was such a great cat but we had to hide the tree from him for his own good.

I vaguely remember tying the top of the tree to the ceiling for our cat!

I remember when I was much younger seeing someone had their tree hanging upside down from the ceiling. I have to guess a kitty was involved lol

Stop her?? She looks great in the tree ! Make it your Christmas card. Last year I had 2 of them in the tree at the same time. I’ll pull that pic out later unless I get a new one. Cats rule. You can’t stop them. Just enjoy them and laugh at them. As long as they aren’t drinking the water or eating the tinsel they should be ok. Don’t know about the tree though.

That upside down tree might have been part of their culture if they were from Central or Eastern Europe? Here’s an interesting article that explains the tradition. :christmas_tree:

Question, do cats lack a sense of time or is my cat playing me? Each time I go near where I keep the cat treats my cat goes crazy like he has not had one for ages, even though he had one a couple of hours ago. He is getting podgy.

Cats are smart. They start to realize where you get the treats of its from the same spot. I think there is something they put in the treats to make cats go wild for them. My cat nearly bit my finger off earlier this year because she got too over excited for the treat.

What kind of treats do you give your cat?

Just shop bought treats. Like creamy cat food. He does go nuts for it. I don’t know if it is because we rescued him as a stray, he is very food orientated.

Could have been. Kind of wondering that too. Thanks for the read
