Where my cat people? (Part 1)

Ya I’m agreeing with @AlyssaR you got an emergency vet you can go to, for a walk in visit? Today? Now?

3 lazy fur-purr-monsters occupy me. No chance to get my things done

Please don’t wait until Wednesday. If at all possible find and emergency vet today.

Do you have any other cats? Because, she should be quarantined away from other cats.
Feline Leukemia and other diseases are spreadable.
Poor thing.

Everything around us is appointment only. I’ll have to do some research to find out if theres an emergency near by… you sure its 100% feline leukemia?

Shes eating good, using liter box just fine. Shes playful. Her nose and eyes are all that seems to be bad

Poor baby. :heart::smiley_cat:

No no no. I’m not saying it is feline Lukeima at all. But stray cats can get that and spread it to other cats. That’s all. Not sure where your at but could you tell your vet you think it’s an emergency and just drop her off and they can maybe look at her and you can get her later. Show them the pic you posted here.

Great @Philrr415
I just think she looks pretty bad and if it were my cat or a stray I found I would get her in ASAP
Who knows what it could be.
Glad your wife can do that.

Long drive? Lol
We’re gonna contact them. But I’m also going to get a hold of our vet tomorrow too. They didn’t seem to concerned when I said the symptoms

Lol, yeah but I’m up for it!:joy_cat::joy:
Good to hear she’s eating and using the box. She’ll be fine in no time!

Hopefully. I’m a wreck thinking about it being feline leukemia.

I’m so sorry again. I didn’t mean to scare ya like that. And again I don’t mean she looks like she has feline leukemia. But it is a thing. So is FIP and hundreds of other things. The thing is a stray cat should be in quarantine away from other cats. That’s what we did when we got rescued Daisy from a ranch. Lets try not to worry about what might happen. I know that is easier said than done. But that is something we are all learning with the serenity prayer and other slogans like “Let Go Let God”
Lets just get her to the vet and see what thy say.
