Where my cat people? (Part 1)

How’s kitty today?

I played with her before I left for work around 1:30. She was happy. Doing circles around my neck sniffing me. She ate twice today. As long as I run a hot shower and clean her nose(still pretty bad) and eyes(which look a little better) she’ll eat,play, and purr/meow. Get more information in the morning when we see the vet.

That’s so good to hear. I’m very invested in this story. I used to work for a shelter and I did bottle baby kittens. Noodle was terrified of them cause they were so noisy :joy::joy::joy: I think he still has PTSD cause it a kitten mews on my phone he jumps up and goes into hi alert looking for the infiltrators

Update: it’s an upper respiratory infection. Had we waited longer, as my son would say she’d be on a rocket ship to see baby jesus. They said continue what I’m doing and give her antibiotics. Only 6 weeks old so cant do any tests yet

Thanks for the update. Appreciate it. I hope she continues to be on the mend. She is a cutie. What did y’all name her?
To be honest I do wish you were able to bring her down to emergency sooner. But you got her taken care of and I’m so happy. I guess they’ll do other test on her when she gets older. I’m just a great big cat lover. And it pained me so much to see that pic of her.
Job well done my friend :heart_eyes_cat:
She will be there for you in your sobriety. I’m so glad she’ll be rescuing you too.

We wanted to bring her to the emergency but we know people who’ve done it before and unless they had payment plans, no way we could afford it unfortunately.

Named off a few names to our 3 year old. He kept saying kitty kitty. But now calls her Lucy. So lucy lol

@Jennajen
I was replying to you in the gratitude thread but thought I should move it here.

I grateful you’re getting those kittens so I can see pics :crazy_face:. They will be such a great fun part of your recovery. Be sure to get 2 litter boxes. You should have one more litter box than cats. But, since you’re starting with 2 kittens wifey and I think 2 litter boxes will be enough. Sometimes one might attack the other in a litter box. And then the one that was attacked might not use the litter box. But if it has another box to go to it will. Kind of a marking dominance thing. I’m so excited for ya. Let me know if ya got any questions at all. Get them some good scratching posts or Daisy’s lounger. :smile_cat: She scratches the heck out of that and all the other fun stuff we have for them to scratch on and none of them scratch on the furniture.

I think were all in love with your little Lucy. So happy she has you looking out for her. When my Dorian was little he used to lay on our necks, we called it getting scarfed. Fine with their only a pound but no so much later.

I am so happy for her and you and Krieger.
Thanks for letting me know. Talk about Patience :heart_eyes_cat: I cant believe it. But I did have hope.
She is so cute. Tell her not to do that ever again. And give her a good scratch on the head from me.
