They told me to put the early morning hours to good use. Get up, write in a journal or read recovery literature, do a simple physical chore.

The problem is my face is swollen from an infected tooth and I’m in severe pain.

oh i’m sorry love. pain does suck and is hard to sleep with this infection / pain going on. I try to find a way to focus on something else (not always easy).
Reading a book if you can concentrate also helps.

Today is Tuesday and it’s 9:45 pm. I can’t sleep. My body aches 
. Took an ibuprofen, hope it helps with the pain so I can go to sleep. I have to wake up early for a doctor’s appointment tomorrow morning. Hope you were able to get some rest.
How is your tooth holding today Nicole?
Have you seen a dentist for it?

I see the dentist on Thursday. It’s still pretty painful but my doc prescribed a pain med I will be picking up tomorrow morning. I have been swishing with salt water which seems to be helping a lot and taking antibiotics too. Thanks for your interest and care.

Me again! Another sleepless night. The doctor prescribed sleeping pills but I hate taking them because it’s hard to wake up in the morning. 
How are you doing? Hopefully tooth feeling much better today
