Worthless feelings

I know this sounds simplistic but I changed my train of thought on drinking. Drinking honestly does and never did anything positive for us. It’s a false belief ingrained in us from a young age that it’s cool, fun, and adds to our persona.
It’s really hard to get past those urges but it’s doable. We who have managed any dry time are not any different than you, my dear. I really believe once you get over the hump that keeps you stuck you’ll be truly happy you did.
I’m not giving up on you!!

Yeah I know what you mean too. I boss is actually really cool. I told him about my drinking addiction and he was up set but he said just drink less so you can make it to work we all do it… obviously I’m a addict so that dont work for me. I need a whole new make over in my life. And cut the drinking out period… I know its easier said then done. But I have faith in me and the good lord.

Yeah that drink less mess doesn’t work for me either and neither does I just won’t drink hard liquor smh exactly why I’ve been sober and fell off so many times. I’ve excepted the reality that I can’t control it.

You definitely can do it.

Me too another day sober. Yay

YAY!!! Keep going and don’t look back

You are worth the fight. Use your kids as inspiration. They need their daddy and seeing the problem at first hand; you are starting on the right track. Of course life is complicated and with being an addict drinking is the only way to excape and cope. But more time sober you will realize it is the only way to get your life back and start a new chapter. You can do it!
