It’s nothing to do with a prayer that may or may not be said at the time of slaughter why I like to eat it. The method of slaughter through halal is different which results in the meat possibly being healthier with less chance of diseased micro organisms transferring in to the meat from the blood. Having spent most of this summer in a Muslim country where the meat seemed to taste decidedly better I have simply carried on setting it since my return.

Kev the humanely part was a question that I flippantly asked knowing it makes no difference to you cos your dont eat meat. The halal part was a separate statement
