Evening walk with some fog drifting in.
Netherlands.
It was rainy all day so I took the train north to Kempten. Visiting a museum and walking.
Inhale, ahhh, hmmmm
Scotland:
Today we are heading for Edinburgh. Only 1 day done from our holiday but already seen so much.
13 days in front of us
Stunning, thanks so much for sharing. I am going to live through you the next couple of weeks. Enjoy Edinburgh, lots of hills!
Beautiful 6 mile hike in San Diego’s mountains yesterday featuring my amazing little dog and this gorgeous gopher snake we encountered

In August I finished my NH48 journey on Mount Adams.
For the non-Northeast US folks, this means I climbed all 48 peaks over 4000 feet in New Hampshire. On to the next journey!
I love those long old hikes where you see the most interesting things.
A Wild Boar and her humbugs
Red kites following the tractors for fleeing voles, mice and shrews
A sunset
Silly me
Last Sunday’s hike, which starts and ends at my front door. Rather industrial but a nice hike nonetheless.
Lovely eight miler through Richmond park. The red deer are well in rut.
That’s the city of London in the distance.
OLE & Steen rule my world
Beautiful autumn day today, crisp air and a wisp of a chill in the air.
Perfect day.
Back again from our holiday in Scotland but here’s some pictures from our hikes there. It’s a hikers heaven
Made soooo many pictures
But hope you can visit it yourself if it speaks to you. I know I like to go back some day!
Thanks for the gorgeous pictures! It looks like a nice stay.
This wild boar is way too near!
