I’ve been sober off drink for two years and only 3 days off drugs… New year New me
Hi I’m two years dry from drink and 3 days clean from gear. It’s my first time on anything like this and look through for other people battling drugs, hope your journey goes well
I seemed to work my way though drugs till I ended up on heroin, but I’m doing the rip as we speak, 3 days in
Hi Lee… Glad your here. Congrats on getting through 3 days. Your in the right place. Have a good read around the threads, there is a lot of help here and fantastic people for you to talk with on here
Thank you, there’s some really interesting and easy to talk to people on here, it’s nice to be open about things, as I’m awful for keeping things to myself, but have been able to open up more to people that don’t know me. I’ve had some good advice with my withdrawal. I believe in doing it med free as knowing me I’ll get hooked on the meds, haha. But there’s so much advice it’s really helped. Again thank you, god bless.ps if I can ever help then just know I’m here also.
This is so helpful. I’m new here and can already relate to most of the things you’ve said
Take it one day at the time believe in ur self and yes call someone to talk or vent it helps a lot if you can go for walk fresh air does miracles
Thank you for this Information. It helps a lot.
Hi, I’m new here also, I just love the positive energy and hopefully I’ll recover and be truly happy with myself
Welcome Theanya! This forum has helped me tremendously and the people on here are amazingly supportive. I’m sure you’ll have the same experience. I look forward to taking this journey with you.
Thanks…
I know, right? People tell me I’m a stronger person for all the challenges. I’m not. I’m a mess! Constantly anxious and usually depressed as well.
I realize this post is from 2017 but this really helped me right now. I have been struggling getting clean for 21 years now. And what I need to do is to stop trying to control my using thinking I can, and instead involve God. Thank u!
This thread deserves a resurrection
That’s so true!!!
Going through that does make you strong IMO, maybe not in the way people mean (I.e. thick skinned). If keeping on going through adversity isn’t strength then I don’t know what is!
Boost, boost, I was a constant relapser, I had to remind myself. Broke on thru to the other side:notes:
Gotta make some changes for my mental and physical health.
