Alcohol help

How do you guys cope with going cold turkey and cutting the habit? I was put in a hospital that gave me no help and after a couple of weeks I still have withdrawals

Eat good, stay hydrated. A lot of what your body is craving is sugar, try sweets. I also highly recommend totally submersing yourself in sobriety. Podcasts, meetings, videos on YouTube, this place. The more time you spend on your sobriety the stronger it becomes.

Great advice on sugar treats. I carried packs of M&M peanut candies everywhere, so if I had urges or was getting antsy, I’d just dissolve a few pieces of chocolate nuts in my mouth till the desire went away.
