Well the one black metal album I’m looking forward to this year is Darkthrones new release next month. Thought it was suiting for today for my hike.
Yeah man I look at music a lot different I love everything I used to but in a different way like if it’s depressing I’ll do a song or two but I like more focus on staying positive and all that jazz dude, music is beautiful and it offers so much, why shun something cause you don’t like it? Is it cause it isn’t any good? Or is it because you don’t want to open your mind to it?
Well browse around find what you dig and add your musical taste everything you guys post inspires me as a musician and I really do appreciate what everyone shares and its really about you guys, it helps me get to know all of you and what your emotions are like through music. I appreciate the drops
More Darkthrone is never a bad thing, legendary band I really liked the latest Burzum record aswell, but thats more like a folk album, not metal at all.
It was a great album, it wasn’t really favored but I dont tend to care about others opinions but I do love a lot of that neofolk style, its similar to the style of music I used to write when I was younger like dungeon synth, I actually wrote a song on that genre not too long ago I loaded some of it on instagram anyways yeah man music is totally subjective, clearly you understand that, I try to stay open to everything cause I pull influence in writing that way, but its nice to meet you along the way
It’s pretty cool, Zack de la Rocha sang in a straight edge hardcore band before RATM called Inside Out. I’m not sure if he still lives sober, but he’s clearly a man of strong principles so I would imagine so.
Haven’t been around here as much as before. The weather finally is nice and so I’m spending any/all my free time outside to appreciate it! Nature is my church, being on a hike or a bike ride is my therapy. Absent that, there always is Maiden!!! Up the Irons!!!
