All good here.
Nursing a bit of an injured back, but otherwise getting on with what needs getting on with.
… Oh… and seasoning up that new BBQ/firepit contraption.
Good times ahead.

I’ve heard of Albury, I’m around a 40 hour drive from there so probably won’t run into you down the shops :joy::sweat_smile:

Albury/Wodonga is on the Victorian - New South Wales border. Nice place. I’m only about about 3 and a half hour drive away.

I’m sick of this maddening rain.

Interesting is correct. Very interesting history.
Also beautiful.

However… It was the ice capital of Australia for a while and as a border town still has a huge problem which has plagued the city for years.
Just like any city, being aware and a little mindful will help you make good decisions. This is not to scare you, only inform you… It’s not like any city exists without issues.
Hope you both love it over here

Hey Aussies. Who goes to meetings. Are there ones you like and others you’re not super keen on. I go to a steps meeting Friday night’s and there’s a Tue night I.P. meeting I’m not a huge fan of. I’ll go if I can’t do Friday.

Hi there @Fridaynoon aka soon-to-be aussie resident!!!
Hope the move goes smoothly for you :slightly_smiling_face:

@AyBee are you still getting rain?? The weather seems to be returning to normal here (touch wood!) Oh and your bbq set up looks super cool, those views sure are damn captivating also!

Me :raised_hand_with_fingers_splayed: and yup some meetings I love, some I like and some I steer clear of. For me , it’s kind of based on some of the people that attend the meetings but also the ‘type’ of meeting and it also depends on my mood. Sometimes I really enjoy the I.D. meetings, I love our local big book study meeting… actually it mostly probably depends on my mood that day as to which one I go to :sweat_smile:

Rain should now be done for a while, but had a final 30-50mm dump just to keep us all wet and annoyed.

Heading to Meat-stock this Friday in Toowoomba - a huge festival of BBQ meat. Delicious (i hope)
