I’ve never tried it. I’ve never made it. I just keep seeing it come up on here and elsewhere. Just looking for some insight and/or feedback.
I personally can’t handle it. I know it has a very small amount of alcohol but it’s enough to really trigger me. Everything about it reminds me of drinking so I stay clear of it.
My daughter likes it. I have never tried it. Way too much sugar usually for me.
Tried it once. Wasn’t a huge fan. Does taste kinda boozy if you ask me, but some folks love it. My wife and daughter drink it.
I’ve been curious about it. I’ll probably stay away from it because of that curiosity…thanks
If tried it… its okay
I’ve only tried one kind. I love it it’s nice and fizzy but there’s too much sugar so I mix it with my La Croix. Ive never found it alcoholic like but I guess all the brands are different.
Everyone is different. Personally I think it tastes like ass and vaguely boozy.
To me not drinking things that have been set to rot is a perk of sobriety.
I LIVE for kombucha.
Fermented foods are soo good for you. It is an excellent source of gut pro-biotics.
Personally I find it tastes more like gingerale (ginger is my favourite flavour) than it does alcohol.
What brand is your favourite? I’ve only tried the one from Farm Boy.
i have one a few times a year, that’s about it. i like the GP Enlightened Multi-Green
I love kombucha especially if a restaurant makes it in house. Only problem is, each batch has different %’s of small increments of alcohol. I like to think of my itchy feet as a 6th sense because of my cirrhosis, if something like kombucha or a non alcoholic beer has a certain amount of alcohol in it, the bottoms of my feet become extremely itchy. It’s a side affect of early alcoholic cirrhosis but triggers my liver now if the liver has to filter it! So long story short, I tend to shy away from kombucha but it’s actually really good for you if you can stomach it!
Rise is my favourite…you can get it at Farmboy too
I’m just wondering if it’ll be a trigger for me or not…
Kombucha tastes like the smell of a crusty foot to me. I’ve tried but I can’t.
Kombucha is a fermented, slightly alcoholic, lightly effervescent, sweetened black or green tea drink commonly intended as a functional beverage for its supposed health benefits. Sometimes the beverage is called kombucha tea to distinguish it from the culture of bacteria and yeast. [Wikipedia
