Could there be an as-yet-undiscovered body in the Kuiper Belt that meets the definition of “planet”? (Not Pluto, sorry friends. That time has passed.) There is an unexplained alignment of orbits for some smaller bodies in the Kuiper Belt that, in one astronomer’s view, suggests the existence of a (new) 9th planet in our solar system.
Check out the details of the case here, and drawn your own conclusions folks:
I’ve just finished a fiction book called Final Equinox written by Andrew Mayne. He’s a real jack of all trades kind of man; scientist, magic trick artist, mathematics spod, and many other disciplines as well litter his writing. I really enjoyed his Theo Cray series on finding serial killers with mathematical patterns and behavioural mapping.
Anyway, this one was about lifeforms outside of Earth. The way it was discussed throughout the novel really made me believe we cannot possibly be the only life forms in this “World” or whatever we want to call something that is unquantifiable. That, or we are in a highly advanced life simulation/study .
Caveats:
Anything could happen. Ellie Golding, said so.
I hate sci fi.
I don’t care really. I think we have enough to worry about in our simulation, here on turf.
The deep ocean would be a great place to hide if there were aliens here though: a vast, unexplored, inaccessible place. That would be my pick for a secret base
Currently I’m watching the Hearing of some guys (L. Elizondo is one of them) on CNBC.
“Do you have prove?”
“Yes”
“Can you show us said prove?”
“No”
Lol
Interesting, but all speculation until something is found. If it exists I don’t think it could be in the Kuiper Belt itself as it would have failed to ‘clear it’s orbital path’ there, the same reason Pluto was demoted…
Parts of the Space UFO / UAP net is freaking out at the moment because “a video of a real eggshaped UAP” was shown.
It’s an egg on a thin line all in green.
It’s everywhere

You have to zoom in and scroll up. Very interesting.
Of course there are those um…special person’s on the Web who say it’s Aliens. Of course. What else could it be
This is awesome. What a cool geometry that geology has
The online discussions about this remind me of the discussions about the “Face on Mars” image taken by the Viking I orbiter in 1976. Here is the original, and below, a more recent (and much higher-resolution) photo taken in 2007:
