Same here. I spent a lot of time homeless, and occasional staying in some seriously unclean places.
When I get a roof over my head, I keep it immaculate.

As a single dad, all I do is clean.
I cook, do the laundry, dust, vacuum, beds are made as soon as each of us get up. Everything had its place, oh yeah, I work an average of 72 a week (often more) AND still able to home school my days half the time.
Back to being single and trying online dating…you girls need to clean the bathroom counters and put your laundry away before taking selfies in the mirror

I love cleaning. Nothing worse than a trashed kitchen or bathroom.

I don’t know the answer to this. But I have a man-in-training at home who I just made stop his on-line chatting with his other 12 year old friends to clean up a mess on his bedroom floor!! 
And I don’t think he even noticed it for days until I stepped in it and got mad.
