I’ve done 1 mini tri and it was hard. Very impressive mileage on the race tomorrow. I’m excited for you! Get plenty of rest tonight!

I’m inspired by the women athletes I saw doing the super sprint team triathlon at the Olympics. It was insane, a 350 yard swim, the bike was I think a 5 k and a 2k run - they were going flat out the whole way! And when they handed off to the next racer in the relay, they just collapsed at the finish. Now that’s the kind of effort I am aiming for next month - tomorrow’s race is a prep race for me.

How did your race go?

3rd in my age group, that’s a plus! Slow on the swim so I have time to fix that before my A race in 5 weeks.
