Baby birdies thread ❤ And the cockatoo crew ❤

Have you tried sunflower seeds yet? They are obsessed with them and they aren’t too pricy… I havnt come across a bird yet that doesn’t love them :heart:

And I’m also still blown away everyday with the connection I form randomly with these feathered friends lol… I’m beginning to think I was a bird In a past life and they can sense my souls connection to them lmao :joy:

I feed lots of sunflower seeds. I have lots of birds come, a big variety throughout the year. It’s just I’ve never tried to get friendly with any of them! I feed predominantly sunflower, black oil, safflower, peanuts, nyger, some milo, some millet.

Aw… Such a nice connection… There’s little reason to fear that which has good intentions :slightly_smiling_face:

They’re so cute! They do look like baby chicks with that fluff. First the crow baby and now this family, they definitely feel like you’re part of their family or they wouldn’t bring their babies. No doubt, you are the bird whisperer. :laughing:

That was my first thought!

I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t think its ideal anymore that I indulge in KFC because its chicken , and chickens are technically birds, so I can’t be eating my kind now can I lol?? :joy:

I do love me some roast children chicken but now I just feel guilty :joy:

If you identify as a bird now, that means that human meat isn’t off the table anymore :thinking:

That’s a relief! I was worried about him. Glad he’s back to his normal self. I was watching that Australian zoo show the other day with the Irwins and they rescued about 20 birds that were poisoned. Someone gave them bird seed after poisoning it. It was horrible to watch and Mr floofy came to mind. Thankfully they were able to save some of them and set them free but some did die. Very sad what people will do to try and destroy these harmless creatures.

@TanyaC how cute tayna! :heart:

This morning the little dude in the bath tub refused to get out :joy: he stayed in the floating and washing himself for like 20 minutes lol. Every time another pigeon approached him to take a turn , he fought them out protecting his self care time :joy::heart::rofl:

It was heart warming to watch how happy he looked :heart:
