This afternoon was special. I got home at 3pm from running errands so i was out all day so when I opened the window and baby came in to visit, it was very affectionate and snugly today for the first time! My heart is melting! So it was on my arm as it ate a bit of bread from my hand then when it was finished it stayed on my arm and I walked over to the couch and I sat down and it sat down with me staying on my arm, it sat down in its sleeping sitting position and procedded to go to sleep on my arm- for over 30 minutes!! I moved positions so that I was laying down and it stayed there and didn’t budge. I could see its little eye lids so up close its tiny eye lashes are so cute and I seen that it has two eye lids. One on top and one on the bottom that shuts upwards… It was sleeping right on top of my pulse on my upper wrist… I think it could hear or feel my pulse and maybe that was nostalgic for it hearing its mums heartbeat?? I could feel its little heart pulsing and I was frozen in time staring at this beautiful little angel that has somehow become my little buddy. Im in awe that it slept on my arm for over 30 mins

Sunset views actually baby is sitting out there contemplating making better decisions in the future, because baby just swallowed an entire long French Fry whole. It was more than half the size of it body and it swallowed it whole 
I dont know how it didn’t choke, its throat is so tiny! So now baby is very uncomfortable and is rethinking ever stealing my food when I got up to go to the bathroom 
Last night I watched a Netflix movie that’s recently new; Penguin Bloom. You should watch it if you haven’t seen it yet!! Reminded me of you and baby! Super cute movie and the bird is adorable AF.
Ah yes! Its the one with the magpie and Naomi watts ! Its actually at our cinemas on the big screen. I seen it advertised last week. I havnt been to the cinema in years, so now that you said its a good film, I might treat myself and go to the cinema to watch it 
I’d say it’s worth going to see! The end credits are great too because it’s based on a true story so the end has all the real photos of the bird and it’s human family! If you go let me know how you enjoyed it!!
My favorite parts are how the bird sleeps lol melts your heart.

I wonder how they got the magpie so trained it could handle all the people around with filming. So interesting.

Well I don’t think they used the real penguin as the credits (which I always watch lol) had about 10 or so other birds in the filming but honestly you couldn’t tell. They all looked and acted the same so good job on their trainers and picking very similar birds.
So I’ve been telling baby that I’m going away tomorrow for a few weeks but I will be back and to not get worried or confused. I telepathically told it as well because animals are very telepathic. What has happened is beyond magical. I think it has understood me because it has not left since I’ve been telling it, and its sitting and chilling in new spots in the house and it just wont leave. Its being very affectionate with me and its like it knows I’m going. I belive it can thoroughly understand me

Getting some quality time in before I leave tomorrow. Baby %100 knew what I was talking about. It stayed untill 7.35pm today. The latest to date. And it hung out for 5 hours and its talking was at its most today. I really hope while I’m away its OK.

She/He really seems to appreciate their time with you, and I know they bring you tremendous joy! Such a little darling you have! Thank you for sharing this story with all of us. I can’t believe they just make themself at hone and eat out of your hand! I wish my birds would do that…this guy comes to my roof and looks at my kitchen door all the time:
