I had a blue budgie when I was a kid. I remember my dad trying to cut its Wings so it wouldn’t fly away 
so traumatising !
That is one of her doll houses she put him in. Haha.

Today is coming home day. Its been two weeks since baby has seen me. I have faith that baby will still be there and we will resume as BFF’s

I’m not sure if they migrate or not or hang around. I havnt done any research yet. Will be interesting to see what happens over the next few days

My carpets are being steam cleaned today so I hope the punishing does not involve copious amounts of poop on my fresh newly cleaned carpet

So its been a whole day plus 6 hours and baby hasn’t flown in. I can see baby outside frolicking, but its completly ignoring me when I call/whistle for it. I can see its with its family. Its well and healthy so thats the main priority of concern. I went out side to the garden to call it, it seen me but completly ignored me lol. Birds definetly have good memories its now apparent the weather is really hot here the past 4 days 32+ degrees, so I’m quite surprised baby hasnt come back for water and a cold bath. Today I could see baby’s beak panting open from the heat, but I didn’t fly in oddly. Its parents keep sitting out on the fence outside my window, I feel like they are watching out for baby so that’s good… TBC

Baby is punishing you for leaving. Keep talking and whistling daily and hopefully it will give in.

the ignoring continues spotted 7.30am baby with mum and dad. I feel like baby may have gotten into trouble with mum and dad and its been forbidden to hang out with me because the mum and dad were worried why it kept disapearing all the time I can here baby chirping SO loudly. I think its hungry coz it keeps following the mum and dad around. My window is open so it knows it can come back anytime

Breaking baby news update… I’ve just realized that is not baby. I was wondering why it was chirping SO MUCH. Baby does not chirp now like a new born. So I took a closer look and this is a brand new out of the nest baby… So now my question is, where is the real baby? No where to be seen
