Beginner tools

New here. I could really use some great beginner tools to help me get through each day. I’m wanting to stop drinking alcohol but my anxiety is through the roof. Any help is appreciated. Have a blessed day! :blush:

I’m glad you found us.
Have a good read around here. This place has been a great place for me to get support in my sobriety. Addiction is too tough to go it alone. We are stronger in numbers. And we are all worth it.

When I first came on TS all I did was gratitude. Every morning. I start my day with gratitude. I’ve been doing it for almost 900 days. I wake up each morning thinking nothing but gratitude. I trained my brain ODAAT.

As it turns out, it’s actually an incredibly effective tool against anxiety. For me anyway. Ya I get anxious sometimes still. But I deal with it so much better now.
