The Red-Crested Cardinal

  • Their appearance features a distinct, bright red head, crest, and bib, a pale horn-colored bill, a gray back, and a white belly.
  • Native range is Central and southern South America, specifically Argentina, Bolivia, southern Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay. They were successfully introduced to the Hawaiian Islands (especially Oahu and Kauai) in the early 20th century.
  • They are monogamous and mate for life.
  • Males construct a cup-shaped nest from twigs and grass, usually placed in the fork of a tree. Females lay 2 to 5 eggs, which are incubated for 12 to 13 days.

I got a video of the Indian Roller Bird in flight, but my phone camera just isn’t good enough to capture its stunning colours, so here’s a Google image of what I see

The first few geese are Canada Geese! They are gorgeous, and their babies are cute as hell.

I think the second is a Baltimore Oriole, also a very good looking bird! :smiling_face_with_sunglasses::call_me_hand:

@Tragicfarinelli The red is quite stunning!! :star_struck:
