It takes what it takes for us to hit that point when enough is enough. Sounds like you’re at that point. Make today your day one, create an action plan and jump into sobriety with all you’ve got.

Yeah it certainly was my lowest,…i think the shame is the hardest part just looking in the eyes of the person i love and knowing i betrayed her…i feel like i don’t diserve love from anyone.

A lot of us here on the forum can relate to that shame. Unfortunately, we can’t change the past but we have control over our future. Show that loved one through your actions. It may take some time so be patient and do the next right thing every single day.
