this is my youngest adellyn rose, both my girls have my blue eyes. She came over for a lil yesterday. Today is day 50😀. Yesterday my buddy gave me the boot, he said no more lifting at his house bc I work in housekeeping and he doesn’t want to catch the virus, witch totally ok np. But then after telling me this, he let’s my buddy who works at the liquor store and sees ppl all day and touching cards and money all day come up and drink with him. Ok I see how well you’re priorities are:). But thank God I have my gym at work still, and I just took yesterday off and just did a lil binge on food and couple hot baths with Epsom salt to rest my body, and just relaxed. I’m gonna stay after work and do my lifting today. The state where I work is thinking about doing alternate rotation for us housekeepers, so one week on one week off. And it will be paid so that’s cool. Idk not to much to report. @Andi20 14 days girl, that is so awesome congrats and keep it up, only better days coming. And contracts to everyone else. I keep seeing huge milestones and I’m so happy for you all. Hope you all have a awesome sober Tuesday . Whoop whoop

Day 508 and checking in …been a crazy time here , been made redundant from work and yesterday was my LAST time ever at my store and now we are on lockdown …so time to knuckle down focus on the positives and go forward from here…to all my friends in recovery there are loads of online options for accessing step meetings and use social media to stay in touch with friends and family…I am thinking of you all x

Day 6 for me. Feeling pretty good considering I barely slept last night. My withdrawal symptoms are definitely starting to subside so now is when I seem to have trouble sleeping. Have a terrific sober Tuesday everyone :muscle:

I haven’t been here in quite awhile but still going strong. I’m coming up on my 18 month mark.
Not that I would choose alcohol at any point, but, all the things I would normally do to put my focus elsewhere and stay healthy are slowly being taken away with our new stay at home orders.
I miss my job at the YMCA, I miss going to my meetings, and I miss going to church.
With that said, technology has been a life line. I just hope they don’t keep us from getting outside. I need to hit up some more parks/trails.
Take care everyone. My hopes are that you stay safe and in good health.

Congratulations on 50!

For whatever reason pictures don’t load for me, but I’m glad your family is happy and healthy.

Take care,
Paul

Checking in, today is Day 76 - :one: :one: weeks!!!

Plan for today: shovel the 3" of snow that fell over night and read my Recovery Dharma book. Today’s movie: “The Martian” to learn to keep a positive outlook while in isolation!

So sorry about the redundancy, it’s very unfortunate but at least you’ve got your head on straight. Stay safe, stay sober my TS friend.
Blessings and sobriety!

Day 245. Day #1 of working from home, as our Governor issues a “Stay At Home” order for all non-essential employees. I think it’s in effect until 4/5.

So yeah, let’s go!!!

Have a strong day!!!

Day 4 sober. Day after day. Step by step. Not wanting to be discouraged and working on my recovery. Now I have more quiet time for that. I need to be ready to suffer and not choosing alienation

Day 64

More of working from home. I have been using my French Press coffee maker a lot lately. :stuck_out_tongue:

Work, exercise, dinner, sleep…not exciting but I will take it.

Everyone have a strong and sober day!!!
