Checking in daily to maintain focus #10

Ouch, that is high. Definitely keep him hydrated. Do you have any pedialyte?

Checking in Day 64 still going.

Come off social media for a few days, just needed the break. Spent lots of time with my Son who is really down as all exams cancelled for degree, was so good to actually be available to him  Instead of focusing on when I could hit the wine.

Hope all you are good in this unsettling times

Prayers sent you’re way, nothing worse then watching you’re Child be sick. Just wish you could take the pain for them

yes I was reading all sorts of stuff about the virus and my day was gone! so just switched off, but did hope you would not worry, would always let you know if I was struggling

@Beardy_McTallman I was finding myself on the computer all day and think that was why I was feeling low, the break has done me good. How are you? will see once I catch up on posts.

Congratulations to all these amazing milestones. I’m going on 82 days of sobriety, day 11 of being my children’s teacher, and day 2 of not working. I’m trying my hardest to stay positive throughout this lockdown. I am so glad that know that there are some meetings going on through Zoom or other teleCommunications. I hope every continues to stay safe.

So true such good benefits but too much is draining. I got some books, so now sharing time between PC and reading, a nice balance. I was job hunting on my PC, reading COVID-19, Facebook, emails, here (which was the only positive) but I felt like my head was going to burst, felt I was running out of time catching up on everything. So did the break. But I did miss finding out how people were doing. So happy to see you still on your journey. It’s certainly is an “up and down” process this getting sober. I have not really had those pink clouds yet - hiding from me buggers! But love not having the hangovers and self-hate. So that is pink enough for me. Keep strong :muscle:
