Day 70. I’ve been feeling kinda crappy these past few days. But I felt better today. Just have to ride out the bad days and evetually I get back to a good one. Stay strong everyone!

I just shut down and left all the dishes and messes and didn’t feel guilty at all. Not the best celebration but it felt f**king good.

They haven’t been easy days lately but they’re not all gonna be.
Found out a couple days ago that one of the kids that I taught when I did weekly public outreach at the local charter school commited suicide. He was 17. It looks like addiction claimed him. I keep seeing his face as the little 6 year old kid I met who was so bright and friendly. I feel so bad that the community can’t lift up the family during this time.
Hug your kiddos tighter. Be grateful they’re at home driving you bonkers.

I adapted the idea that all human was evil for a long time, but the longer i spend time in here the more i learn about we all got a common need.

It was so nice to give away all that stuff from my shop to the healtcare workers! And they were so happy with it. I have enough presents left at my store so I can call 2 other institutes to make them smile too in these difficult times.
Gratefull that I’m sober, gratefull that I’m healthy and my family too. I still have a job to go to and happy to be able to do something good for others. All this I couldn’t do this good when I was still drinking.

- Woke up in a bit of a funk with a stuffed nose and some very weird dreams still running around my brain. Catching up with this thread truly made my mood turn 180°. So grateful to you all, sharing your journeys and giving me the opportunity to share mine. So many stories of hope and struggle.
