7 days is awesome and I’m really proud of you, that’s what I wanted to say. 
You are as good as you are right now Menno. The sober you is the real you today, yesterday and tomorrow. The people around us needs time to adjust to our changing. My brother says in the beginning of my sobriaty: don’t be boring, take a drink! 
It said something about him, not me!
But it did triggered me as well. We talked it over and now he never offers me alcohol.

people will never get it, it’s took me ages to get my head in the right place and then my mate said we should have one last drink and I should start again. It might be one drink to him and a bit of fun for old times sake but it’s a long, dark, lonely road back for me and that’s if I even make it back. Have a peaceful day my friend.

Checking in at 3.01 days. Not much to report today. My desire to get and stay sober is slowly growing with each day. A part of me thinks that I’m beyond repair and just too broken, what’s the point. I will try to push through that. Have a great sober day!

Today is fricken 3 months. It went by fast and literally is the best thing I’ve ever done, don’t ever get cocky tho bc I’ve had some damn close Calls.
To anyone who is in the early stages and thinking idk if I can do this, you can I promise.3 months ago I didn’t want to be here, I hated my life, I hated myself, I barely could take care of my two girls, I had no money, no life, no goals. I have a huge crazy story that someday when I make it further I’ll share, but If you keep working you’re sobriety, and doing things that are just a lil bit out of your comfort zone, you’ll make it and you’ll love sobriety and you’re gonna feel more alive then you have your whole life.
