Checking in Day 61!!!
Just finished ZOOM meeting with group I was invited to. I’ve never been to an AA meeting but I’m excited to shake a few hands when I do meet them face to face.
I don’t use this app much other than to be accountable but moving forward I wanna spend a lot more time hearing others stories.
Enjoy the weekend folks!!

@Here.I.am That is terrible news and you have every right to feel anxiety and anger. I hope the situation improves for you ASAP

@MrCade
I have to say I think this is the best posting I’ve seen here. You are a trooper, inspiration, etc, etc, etc. I have not been able to express or frame our struggle in a way I could adequately communicate to other people. I’ve bookmarked this post for future reference when asked to do so.

I am sorry you are going through what you are going through. We all gain knowledge and strength from your postings.

Thanks for sharing with us.

You can’t dwell on it or the darkness will swallow you up in negativity and self pity. Do you have any other plans, back-up plans, plans B, C, and D. This is the time for creativity. necessity is the mother of inventions. Is it time to sell some un-needed stuff? Time to downsize?

I’ve heard people in the rooms, full of gratitude in sobriety with nothing else. No work, no job, barely a place to stay but full of gratitude because to pick up is to die. There is still living to be done. I hope this helps you get out of your head. It helped me some to write this. Reach out anytime. :call_me_hand:t2:

  1. Coffee followed by an early shift. Sober and clean and clear headed. Thanks @Quit4myDaughter. I could use that too.

Great! I catch myself sometimes when I struggle and I go back to something i wrote to somebody else and say to myself, “Self, why don’t you practice a little of what you preach” I think we all get stuck in our own head at times. Quarantine makes it worse. A little kick in the arse is usually what is needed. :joy:

Day 601 :coffee:
Officially nailed the 600 :confetti_ball:
Had a day with mixed feelings. I cried, felt proud, was sad and angry and happy all in one day.
I’ve got a bonus reward from my areamanager because of my hard work lately, that made me happy.
I was proud because of it and because of my 600 days.
I cried and felt angry because a customer yelled at me and was aggresive.
I was sad because the areamanager decided to transfer the manager of my store to another store maybe temporary, maybe forever.
She offered me the job, but I do not want to be a storemanager right now. Maybe in the future.
So a weird day.
Today it’s mothersday in the Netherlands. My daughter is going to bake me something nice today. My son’s have presents too.
I  being there mom (not because of their presents :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:).
Today I’m going to recover from yesterday

Oh, thank you so much.
I’m always so taken back when someone says they want to send me something there. I’m just really grateful to have people care.
It’s kind of something I’m still learning to accept, actually.

I do not know where they’ll send me. But I believe a close friend of mine is going to join TS and share such information, as it becomes available.
I could also be found, online, by doing a california prison inmate search.
