Good job! I’m happy to see that…
TWENTY days!!! What a lovely sight
time flies when your having fun, couldn’t do it without you guys, actually I probably could but who would give a shit . Thank you.
Day 1. Worst day ever.
Day 19!
I text a friend this morning at 8am and the 1st thing she said was “What are you doing up so early?!” Lol I reminded her that I’m not drinking, so I don’t need to sleep off a hangover and waste a whole Saturday
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
180 Days: So glad it’s Saturday! Beautiful warm, sunny day here. Have some yardwork to do and then having a bbq with my kids, my sister and her family. Breaking out the paddleboards tomorrow for the first time this year and couldn’t be happier to be sober!
Congrats to all the people who have been putting together some strong sober days. To those that are struggling, keep striving to stay sober for just one more day. Change takes time, but it happens one day at a time.
Much love to all of you! Happy Saturday!!
Great to see this, very deserving and inspiring. Nice one
I want to go out to dinner
That is all.
So good to see your numbers Chris!
Well done on trying again…keep checking in and watch those numbers go up…but more importantly you will feel so much better
D1. I wasn’t going to come back, but that’s just stupid. I keep telling people to keep fighting and I am going to keep fighting.
Oh, the things I told myself yesterday. Nothing about it being fine…just that I don’t deserve happiness, might as well give up, meditated on suicide rather than freedom. I am fragile but not finished. I will beat this.
Ah, Mel! Thanks. girl!
Yes you will beat this, the amount of day 1s we’ve all had and yet look at some of the amazing numbers on here, it’s not by luck these people have got where they are it’s by the shear bloody mindedness to never stop trying and no matter what happened to any of them they all held on to a believe that one day they will succeed. No one truly knew when that moment would be until they look back on it and go, yeah that was the day, that was the turning point, that was the moment I could take no more.
Sobriety isn’t going anywhere it’ll be right here waiting for you when your ready.
Great words Paul. From my experience, this is spot on !!!
Day 298. Lawn is mowed, edged, and cleaned up. Two DIY gym projects are done. Smashing today!
DIY projects: Loading pin and a drag tire. Super simple projects. How you attach the straps to the tire dictates which muscles are worked, so it’s a very simple multifunctional tool.
Have a strong day!!!
mate… someone has stole your bloody car.
