Day 101

Father inlaw is at the hospice house now and is hanging on during his final days. Please keep my wife and our family in your prayers. So thankful to be sober and have all of your support. Keep up the good fight!

Well done putting that champagne back! I couldn’t have done that early on in my sobriety. I haven’t stepped foot in a liquor store since I quit drinking. I admire your dedication! I have no doubt that you will get through the pizza pub experience sober as can be because you know that’s the best way for you! I’d think about what I was going to have to drink at the pub before I go so that my answer is ready when it’s time to order. Just a suggestion! We’re rooting for you!

Thank you, I probably wouldn’t go in there alone because that might end up differently. On the other side there’s only one place to buy alcohol in Sweden, and that’s the liquor store it’s owned by the Gouvernment. And we’re in a small village so they all know us. Next time I’ll plan to tell them about my mission to stay sober. I know they’ve got a good non alcoholic section as well so I figured it might be helpful.

The pizza/pub might be a little more tricky, the weather is still nice and it is lovely to sit outside and they’ve got a section for that to.

I’m thinking I still need to face all that sooner or later anyway. And If I do it now it won’t be a huge mountain to climb later.

I’ve already decided to have some sparkling water and I’ve loaded the fridge at home with Pepsi Max and sweet tea

Went to bed in not so good a space ,grateful I’m waking up Sober.Had to make amends to my boss for being an ass .Feel better now looking forward to another Sober Day
