Checking in Daily to maintain focus #13

:joy: We actually don’t, it’s not s thing here. We usually drink coffee or hot tea, preferably unsweetened, and dark as night. As I said before we’ve got friends and family outside Memphis, they got me into sweet tea. However I would probably make a terrible southerner too because I use something similar to splenda in my sweet tea. Couldn’t justify to drink that much sugar in like a million years :joy:

I was born in Memphis Tennessee! Lived there until I was 30. Then my husband was transfered and we moved to another state.

Checking in on day 22.
Today is shaping up to be another great day!
Headed out for my 2nd sober camping trip this afternoon. This weekend looks like it is going to be beautiful weather, and I sure am looking forward to sitting in the sun or around the campfire and reading my book. I can taste the camp coffee already!
Have a good weekend everyone!

Well done everyone on all your great numbers from day 1 to 1001.They are all special, we are all special and don’t ever forget it. None of us have to be here doing this, we all want to be better versions of ourselves and we’re all prepared to do whatever it takes and put the work in. Forget keyworkers for a few minutes and give yourself a round of applause.

Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Day 14. Feeling good going into the weekend. I get these bursts of anxiety and shame but I’m trying to put them away for now. I know I’ll have to deal with them at some point but I’m just trying to get a steady grip on myself for now.

Excellent!! Deciding ahead of time is key to staying sober in my opinion. The patio scene is hard to resist. I understand. I spent last weekend on patios with family who were all drinking & made it through with my trusty sparkling water. It’s hard but it can be done. And going to bed/waking up sober is the BEST! You’ll have no regrets staying sober.
