@CapriciousCapricorn Well, maybe the contact isn’t a fuck up then if it reconfirms for you why he is not good for you. Make sure you look after you. And the almost 6 months with no booze is not to be sniffed at. (why do we say that?)

I wish I could stay home
I have to work in the public in a very large building every day.
for the last 3 weeks and about a third of the people wear masks and 2/3 do not and it’s so stressful for me to have to deal with a mask all day long.
I don’t know what’s true or not true but I’m afraid that all the riots over the last few weeks are going to produce the second wave and we can’t afford to be locked down again we will all suffer more severe if that happens. And why is it okay for all the people rioting to not wear masks and yell and scream and touch each other. When I am told to stay in my house and not come out there is definitely something wrong with that picture

Hope you get some sleep too. It really can make a difference. My goal every day is to just go to bed sober. It’s a worthwhile goal. Hang in there.

Well I never met you when I joined otherwise I prob would of checked on you… not really sure how to take your post to be honest, you sound kind of upset but describe this nice life you have now. And how did you let go of addiction, if you let go of your sobriety? Kind of sounds like you let the addiction pick back up. And did you really get you’re self-esteem back? Or are you just drinking again and taking away all your inhibitions. Anyway glad you’re doing good from what you say
Yes that’s exactly what I did. I started living on the streets and started taking heroin again because that’s the right thing to do isnt it mate?

I swear the protesters don’t wear masks and stand shoulder to shoulder next to each other getting pepper sprayed and shot with rubber bullets. Meanwhile all the looters and rioters are wearing masks so they don’t get busted when their face shows up on TV and not a single cop is there to stop them.
I’m over here sick of being couped up at home amd you’re over there sick of having to go out to the workplace.
This whole bassakwards world really has lost it’s mind. Thanks a lot 2020

266 Days. My past continues to haunt me. I’m a little anxious about court next week but I need to get this done and move on. I was supposed to go before lockdown and it kept getting postponed. It’s gonna be virtual. Maybe I won’t be so nervous this time with the judge being on camera. Either way, I’m letting my attorney speak on my behalf. He better show up on time or I’m on my own. He’s always late.
I was found guilty of a DUI and I was supposed to complete an IRDC class. I had an exam for my insurance license the same day and never showed up for class. I’m hoping the judge has leniency since that license is required by my employer. I did reschedule the class which got cancelled due to covid. Now I’m just waiting for everything to open to reschedule again.

Conor bless his heart called me today. Im in a speaker meeting in my hometown right now. Stayin with it. One day at a time. Sometimes I forget how stressful it is and I don’t always understand whats going on with me.

So glad to hear that. Meetings are a good resource and phone calls too. We’re so used to texts and messages but a good chat can really make a difference. You have my number… Use it if you need to.

I feel you 
I work in a store. The shop has never been closed down. Had 2 co workers with corona sick at home. They weren’t tested so no need for the compagny to close the shop ore put us in quarantine. Customers were anxious and irritated because of Corona. It were hard times to work and it still are. What helped me is this:
