Non alcoholic cider is delicious. (I might have that opinion because my hometown is one off the biggest cider breweries in Sweden)

How nice to be at a fancy restaurant, I’m glad you had a good time.

Congratulations :confetti_ball: You are amazing!

Don’t do this. I had around this much sober time under my belt and I had bad cravings that I gave into. It’s not worth it. You will start from scratch again like I did too. I really regretted it. I didn’t gain anything out of it. Just a bad conscience. A hangover and bad night’s of sleep. Do everything to keep yourself sober you Can do it. And the cravings will pass!

145.i got my jog in yesterday and did a small bike ride, I was pretty happy. Going to get my jog in today.
I’m super proud of myself…this girl I dated message me yesterday asking if I could help paint, we use to click really well so it wasn’t triggering, I was a lil nervous. But it was actually fun, I new she wanted more then just to paint tho. But I did really good, I helped her paint a lil bit then we watched a movie. And I was honest with her that I just couldn’t do the other thing, I was to nervous and I’m really trying not to for the year or date… Any other time it would of been game on, but it was nice to connect with someone again, but no desire for dating or hook ups so I’m proud I’m doing something write, it shows I’m focused on me and I’m growing.

@ifs congrats on 600 bro, and @Conor689908 I’m sorry about your aunt. I hope everyone has a good Saturday

this is so hard, can’t live with it can’t imagine life without it, currently sober and can’t say if I’ll stay like that, it’s all I can think about, one minute at a time is good enough for me right now, I should be pleased with myself bc I want to be sober and I am, I’m currently in a zoom meeting while posting this, I’ve just bought a couple of old bikes for my Mrs and me to pass the time and do something healthy. Finished reading living sober, still do my prayers, even when I drink I still say thank you to god at the end of the day. I thank my Higher Power for just helping me get to the end of the day bc as long as I am alive it gives me one more day to attempt to get sober.
Getting sober is easy bc at night when I close my eyes drinking is over its the staying sober that’s hard.
So I might be quiet on here but I wish you all the best and am proud of you all. I’m still doing what I can and still trying new things, no promises, no regrets, I’m ill and still getting well. Sober for now. Next will be playing guitar, bath, podcast maybe a walk.
You can’t say I’m not trying :v:

You might have something there Paul. Maybe you should work more on imagining a life without drinking. I’m sure there is lots to gain for you being sober or you wouldn’t be here. What are the benefits to you? And what are the benefits of continuing to drink? This might sound very simplistic and you might have thought about this 1000 times before but it also might be a good starting point. I know you’re trying. I know you want to be sober. Keep at it friend.

Day 130

Just getting stuff done today since my wife and I are both off. Starting to work my second job again which will be nice. Its good to keep busy and stay out of trouble. Its also nice to help out my buddy as he is short staffed.

Will probably hit a meeting tonight to maintain the focus. So glad to be sober. Keep up the great work everyone!

You gotta keep at at. Remember the bad times. None of us quit because drinking was great for our life. Don’t quit on here. In sobriety if you don’t feel like doing something it’s probably what you need to be doing. The disease will only get worse, become a bigger monster. We’re here for you

  1. I am in the progress of reorganizing my garage. My garage really isnt for cars, it is my hobby room…anyway…I decided to move things around. Guess what I found, an “emergency” six pack. I just started laughing, hard to believe I found alcohol hidden after all this time.

Hi Donna. I hope you are doing well.
I sure miss my Pilates. I had a good 3 or 4 months on the reformer by myself and with different instructors. Before Rona. I’ve been off it about the same amount of time. I’m too afraid to go to my gym now and get back on it. I get my home workouts in with my weights but I really miss the benefits of the reformer. Are you still going to your gym?
