Day 10! I already can’t wait for tomorrow to be over. I didn’t expect to be the closer tonight. And I gotta work 11 til close tomorrow. Long day. By the time golf season starts coming to an end I’m usually okay with it bc things slow down, but then its gets cold 
Came home to my new kitty, who was alone (with my other cat) for about 8 hours to find nothing destroyed. A+ little girl. Krieger is quite upset about the situation but I think they’ll soon get along. Still feeling pretty good besides being tired and sore. Pining for my days off.

My kids loved the sea lions they are amazing creatures for sure! Unfortunately they are not doing any shows with covid going on that would be cool to see.

I dunno why, but reading this made me teary smile! I come on here and think the same thing, at the end of every day when I read through all the checking-in… 
And you are every bit as fucking amazing as anyone else on here!
I know we all have some stuff we’re seriously not proud of, but I think it’s about keeping those things accessible in the mind - within reach should a craving come up, but not necessarily at the forefront of the mind. To balance out that stuff with the self-compassion that @Fargesia_murielae and @Brookiemonster618 are talking about, you know?

Day 47.
A get things done kinda day. Mostly. I cleaned the car to avoid the last bit of work on my desk. I like a clean car, but hate cleaning the car. Tells you how I feel about the work on my desk!
I leave tomorrow for a good long road trip to my hometown. Will make “base camp” at my best pals’ where I feel like one of the fam. We will do some time in the city and in the mountains too. I’m not worried about staying with my pals. They aren’t big drinkers, tho’ they always make sure to get “Auntie M” her wine - sigh! I let them know Auntie M now loves her seltzer. (I’ve been a pretty secretive drinker - many in my life wouldn’t think i’ve a problem. A bigger conversation with my pal on the trails, I think…)
I’m happy to be going away, but there will be a lot of tests, many firsts. That’s okay. Each day makes me stronger, and I can imagine how it will feel, when I’m on the return road trip, knowing I’ve come out on top. Better than caving to any passing urge or craving.
It truly is a one day at a time thing. Thank you for sharing today with me. Big love to all

Have a nice road trip in your nice clean car. You can do this. Enjoy the sparkling water. That’s all I ever drink after 3. Your gonna make yourself proud this trip. And your going to have a great time!! What a bonus!! Enjoy the friends and mountains and be safe.

Day 699 
Checking in on a more regular basis now because I’m around a milestone. Milestones are dates wich I’m looking foreward to but also gives me emotional disbalance. I’m feeling a bit wonky about them and afraid for a relapse.
So here I am and here is where I should be at days like this. I’m not in AA or any support group to help me stay sober. TS is my support group and TS is you

I only know the Dutch names of the stones…
But I have used: Amethist, Hematiet, Dumortiet, rookkwarts and Smitsoniet.
I think you can translate it easaly and find the meaning of the stones on christal websites in your country.
