Doing alot better @Dolse71, opening up really helped. Looking forward to what the future may hold. Thank you for asking have an awesome day!
Ah bless your heart I really hope you feel better soon have you spoken to your doctor about this? I’m sure you said before you suffer with bpd sorry if im wrong but as i also suffer with this I know how you feeling one day we start to see light then the darkness appears again I’m always here if you need to reach out and talk big hugs my friend x
Keep opening up, get it out of you…!
I could continue where dazercat left off… What you go thru right now sucks but it’s normal. It’s not the end of the road. If you can, doing something really physical might help with stress (I used to do polar swimming. And screaming my head off in the woods). Write a list about your school work and break everything down to such small tasks that they don’t feel so daunting. And give yourself proper credit for finishing a task (note: not Finnish credit. We really don’t know how to do that! ) If that helps…
You have no need to be ashamed that you feel low, struggle or can’t ‘perform’. Shame has us trapped. You are amazing and brilliant!
Iso hali!
I believe this is for @Jennajen
But you replied to me. I’m sure she’ll still see it on the thread. I hope.
Checking in.
8 freakin months sober today!!
I don’t know if it’s a milestone, but I’m making it one for me today!!
Last time I was sober for this long:
1974/75:
Gerold Ford Pardoned Nixon.
West Germany beat the Netherlands in world cup 2-1
Carl Yastrzemski played for the Red Sox
John Havlicek played for Boston Celtics
Steve Grogan Played QB for the New England Patriots.
Bobby Orr played for the Boston Bruins.
Don’t do what I did and waste all those years.
I’ve been waking up feeling like this for a few days now, not sure if I’m emotionally happy bc I’m sober or emotionally sad bc I want a drink. Like you said a cry would get it out the system but nothing there to really cry about. It’s all part of the topsy turvy journey I guess. Thinking of you all the same, things will change, they always do. It’s just about keep moving in the right direction and doing the best with what we’ve got I guess
Ahh sorry, don’t know what’s t happened. I’ll see if I can fix it.
I too have struggled while taking classes. It helps to do one little thing for class and then lots of time for self care. You are competent, capable, caring, and compassionate! WFS 4C woman…
Aww Honeybee, I’m sorry that you’re feeling this way. But there’s a lot of changes going in in your life, new job, change of country again, sobriety and studying. It’s okey to feel a little off and overwhelmed. Also the classes just started, I’m sure you’ll be able to take your points in the end of the semester. And I’m sure there’s a lot of students that haven’t really done what they are supposed to just yet (Yep me included)
I wish I could say something to cheer you up or help you but I don’t know what to say. Instead I’m sending a lot of love and bright hugs your way. You can do this
Nope, well I tried don’t know if I succeeded. Guess both of you got tagged now. Sorry for the possible inconvenience. Internet doesn’t seem to be on my side today…
I enjoyed the “Honeybee” part and then realized maybe. Just maybe this wasn’t meant for me
I’ll call you HoneyBee if you want to. Or Sweetheart, Sugar, Sweetie, just take your pick. Usually it’s because I’m totally hopeless in remembering names. My husband is the same but he just calls every lady he meets Mary-Beth and all the guys Roger. I prefer HoneyBee all day.
My kids don’t, me meeting the 8 y/o at school
Hello HoneyBee how was your day?
8 y/o I’m NOT a HoneyBee I’m a HUMAN Boy.
Aaaw, surely we can say you’re a honeybee, too , As long as it won’t get you into trouble with the Mrs…
I think we wrote pretty much same thing at the same time
Great minds think alike Eric’s gonna be in double trouble
Yep, guess he became a Super HoneyBee now.
Aww, Steve Grogan…
Wohooo That’s awesome congratulations HoneyBee
I wasn’t even born back then but I’m sure it was a good time.
