Definitely in a lil bit of a funk… today is the first day of school for my daughter from my house…I have the hardest time with simple little task to get her ready for school…it was a challenge to get her lunch prepared for school… My mom is getting her on the bus but I tried to make sure everything was already and my mind was just in a cluster and confused, makes me feel so stupid.
My aunt lives a couple hours away… And called one of my churches here in my town… I pretend to be grateful, for me I think a.a is good enough. She has the pastor calling my phone in the next couple of days. I’m so sick of ppl just throwing things on me and if I say no they get upset
Day 3. No sleep last night but doing alright. Brain on overdrive. Been making my plans for the day, which sometimes helps me drift off, but at least I’ve got a list to keep me busy!
It’s weird the way gypsies are so controversial. Some people have had bad experiences. But the Romani are an incredibly cool group to write about. Go for it!
Getting into routine of days only… loving the sleep. Had a stress time yeaterday reversed campervan into a tree! Checking in. Tomorrow I hit the 2 week mark and am so grateful for this group and all the support. I need to give back more. My 5+ week sober son has just found a new job teaching what he loves and is centered and happy. Grateful for that. My heart is joyful and head is clear for a weekend of writing ahead. Apple desserts, peanut butter rice Krispie treats and mocha chip ice cream instead of wine and hangovers this weekend. Thankful Thursday!
90 days clean and sober today finally!!! I am sooooo grateful to be sober and I’m sooooo grateful to all of you for helping me through so many tough times. Thank you for all of your love and support, have an AMAZING DAY!!!

We’re not here to appease other people, it’s okay to say thank you but no thank you. When you feel confused just try to slow down and breathe, or maybe pack the lunch the night before. Don’t ever feel stupid man, life can bring us down enough without our help. Have a better day my friend.
Thanks man. I did try and tell her no, but she believes since I do believe in a higher power that I need to give it a try. I just said sure I’ll give it a try bc I didn’t want to talk about it anymore.
I did pack her lunch last night, and she would only let me pack carrots with ranch, apple slices, and Doritos. I tried saying we needed a sandwich or something babe and she just through a fit. I felt like I was a bad parent for only letting her go to school with those few things for lunch. And then she won’t wear socks for my mom this morning. Bc she says they have beans in the toes…(wear the sewing meets the big toe) ironically I use to cry about the same damn thing when I was a kid🤣. But idk I geuss it could be worse.
