Hope ya feel better man. Winter is a total bummer for me too. Itās just more work we get like 350 inches of snowfall per year where i live. Having sick days must be nice, i get 2 paid days a year where i can call in lol. Rest up man

Itās days off that you are aloud to take In a year if you are sick. You generally still get paid for the days you take off. It varies between industries.
Ah, OK. In Germany that depends on the illness you have. If we are ill more then 6 weeks bc of the same illness in 12 months or so we get paid by health care/insurance but only 70%.

Wow thatās crazy that itās by your illness they define your rules. Thats nutsā¦ Itās so different in every country. Work culture and ethic is not universally the same and itās always interesting to learn how things work in other countries

Good morning TS peeps. 
I have not checked in like I said I was going to but Iām still sober. I said I would begin checking in in the morning and in the evening before bed but Iāve been sleeping anytime I get the chance. Literally. 
I get up get my daughter ready get her in her room in school and then I lay back down. Iām just sooooo sleepy. Other than that feeling good so hopefully today I can get myself motivated and get some things done around the house. Wishing everyone a Wonderful Wednesday!!!

Day 2 sober. I feel rested and peaceful after yesterday meeting prayers. I am grateful to God. I thought He hated me but He loves me

Checking in. Almost at a month again, as October nears to an end. I still feel like that is peanuts in comparison to the 5 months I had before, and a few other 20-40-something day stretches. But I suppose itās better than zero.
After I dropped my little guy off at school, I commuted back home instead of heading to office. Iāll work a bit then take some time off today. Had a big cry on the drive back home. I donāt get much alone time so that is when the big feels seem to happen. I got emotional after listening in on a Zoom call, then had some memories of mumās death from cancer and being by her bedside. Hits me at the strangest times.
Going to make a stew, maybe have a bathā¦ started listening to Recovery Dharma audiobook, and I also ordered the paperback, which arrived yesterday, so I look forward to digging into it. Have a lovely day, all

Day 138 clean and sober today. Wow, have I been learning a lot! Iāve been reading the ACA book and I can relate so much to what they say. Iām looking forward to getting a sponsor and getting busy! I hope everyone has a fantastic day today, love you guys!!!

Checking in - Day 9. Back to the work grind tonight. Going to sleep on and off all day to transition back to the night shift. I will sneak some exercise in before work though to help boost my mood. Happy to be sober and present. One day at a time
