Thank you Eric!!!
Congratulations on this milestone, Tom. Itās so great to see your progress and Iād say there was a quite a bit of wisdom in your post. This is what I took away from your portion about loving others and making it about them.
I show my love for others by being of service to them. In return, that has helped me to love myself more. Thatās been an unexpected byproduct. Iāve been able to show myself that I am a kind and caring person and I donāt have to continue living as selfishly as I was.
There are also times when I need some āme timeā and I need focus on my own self care. That in return, is also beneficial to others around me, because Iām showing up happier and healthier to life, when Iām taking care of myself.
Congrats again on 90 Days and thanks for sharing it with us.
180 days. Have chose to view my 6 months as this Wednesday as June 16th was my first day. Iām so thrilled to be at this point and am sooooo proud of @Piglet & @Rockstar24777 for inching out in front of me lol.
Congratulations @marcusmaximus2000, @WCan & @Tommo on your milestones and anyone I may have missed. TS is truly a blessing and Iām so thankful for all of you. It feels so good to see so many of the same people here that were here when I joined.
I awoke this morning with what felt like an emotional hangover. It is absolutely freezing here (-25) so today seems like a good day to cover up on the couch and watch movies. Laundry is calling my name but I think I might ignore it for one more day.
Iām so happy for you. Ninety days ago, I could tell from your posts and our conversations, that you were really serious about making this change. And here you are now.
Your self awareness is really on point. But whatās even better is that youāve been using that awareness as an indicator of when to take action. Or to NOT take action, which I think for you and I is sometimes more important. I can relate to you because we both have had a tendency to go all in and then burnout. Sometimes is not about constantly going full throttle in fight mode, but about slowing down and rolling with the punches. Youāve reminded me of that on more than one occasion.
Iām super glad youāre here and part of this journey with me.
Well done to both of you on your six months!
Congrats on your 11 months and some change.

93 days.
Another rainy day here. I did make it out for one short 15min walk, it was painful but it really does bring me a sense of calm to have been out, even for such a short while. Will continue with this.
Itās been 26 hours since I had a cigarette, I was struggling after 3 hours but then remembered I had a box tucked away in a kitchen cupboard with a vape and loads of new bottles of flavour liquid, that I impulsively purchased right before quitting in March, so Iāve been using that, and I feel absolutely fine, not craving cigs one bit, vape tastes so much better so I enjoy it more, and atleast all the nasty chemicals and tar arenāt entering my body. I will use the liquids Iāve got, then start tapering down and quit gradually. Itās a step in the right direction I feel.
Sending many hugs out to anyone who wants or needs one
Checking in at 3 weeks. I started thinking that I will be close to 6 weeks around new years and 9 weeks around my birthday. Keeping my eyes on the prize.
This is awesome, Michelle! I know youāve had some trials at home over this last 180 days but youāre making it through and choosing recovery each day. Glad youāre here, my friend.
Present wrapping without spiked eggnog! Gloomy out, but staying focused - maybe workout later. Happy sober Sunday allš
Nailed it! And the love we get in return, if we are truly lucky, is worth EVERYTHING. Massive congrats and a giant virtual hug on your TRIPLE DIGITS man! Iām stepping on your heels the whole way, but not in an annoying way Sending much love and respect!
