Day 348
I had a productive day, it wasnāt all good but it mainly was. Hereās to starting a streak of good days. God bless you all. &
In a few short hours, I will have completed 40 days of sobriety. 40 is a pretty big deal to me, mainly for biblical reasons. Jesus fasted in the wilderness for 40 days. The time period between the resurrection of Jesus and his ascent to heaven was 40 days. Moses spent 40 days on Mount Sinai. There are several other instances of 40-day spans. Clearly, 40 days was a significant period of time. So this feels like quite an accomplishment. 40 days behind me, the rest of my life ahead of me.
Iām 40 yrs old so I hope this year is as monumental as those events
End of Day 6. I am positively giddy about the annual Valentineās Exchange that my friend organizes. It will be a great way to kick off the first part of 2021.
I have been perusing Instagram for ideas of what to make. Last year, I messed up and sent suckers in cards to Europe. It was too late to change it and it cost me a tiny fortune. Needless to say, the U.S. people got stickers. I blew my budget on the Europeans.
I swear, I have come to look forward to it more than Christmas.
