Sober log day 2XX

Returned from the gym feel fantastic! Its the perfect anti depressant some days.

On the other hand since I been labeled a “bard” I did finally receive the audio clips of me performing at treatment. I want to try and to clean them up a bit but maybe if I muster the courage I’ll post them @littlemisschatterbox I’m sorry no Boys 2 Men in there.

Day 175
I feel like I have come down from a manic high …just like wayyy back down to earth. Or maybe its something in the air. Seems like a lot of people are feeling the same way today. Idk.
My “angel” of a daughter I spoke so highly of yesterday had me in tears today because she was an absolute terror. Ugh.
Being a parent is hard.
Being human is hard.
Just being alive is hard.
Everything seems hard today…
I ended up gorging myself with ice cream and now I feel super guilty.
but alas I shall take some deep breaths, tomorrow is a new day.

Just in the two weeks I felt some of the worst depression I felt in a long time, I been rejected on 4 good avenues of getting my career back on track. I ran out of my psych meds, and I’m helping a friend who relapsed and is now in rehab, dealing with dr appointments and bad test results. Let’s say when it rains it pours, I was af the point where I just wanted to curl up and die somewhere, I isolated and didn’t even socialize with my friends here, I posted on the site but as a front yano? Like almost over compensation, but shit days come, it makes the great days even brighter

Being a parent is the toughest thing in the world. But, damn, are they cute!!! :heart_eyes_cat:
Ditto on the icecream. My son wouldn’t nap today so we went and got icecream instead. I’m done fighting the pointless toddler fights.

You made it through today. That’s something to be extremely proud of. You got this!!
