I’m here, I’m alive and I’m sober.
Day 143
My youngest turns 9 today, so we had a small celebration.
He wished for three tings Corndogs, Shark attack (it’s a toy) and a Piano. He’s been talking about playing Piano for a long time, but the Piano teacher her only takes older kids,from fifth grade (aka 11-12 years old) so we got him a pretty advanced keyboard instead.
He got so happy, it was wonderful to see. After I taped notes and letter on the keyboard so he’ll have some references when he plays,and after he got really frustrated at a “Learn to play piano app” that according to me was more of a scam we looked up some easy child songs for him to try, and within an hour he had learned how to play, Rain Rain go away, and Baby Shark. Teaching him how to play Baby Shark might not have been one of my best ideas. But he’s been playing it on repeat for about 40 minutes now, and got his brother to sing along.
It brings me a lot of joy, to see them working together creating music.

I can play if I’ve got notes to play with. But I wanted something he could learn quickly so he’ll keep the interest and happy attitude about learning how to play. Something that didn’t really required speed or advanced knowledge before you could hear what it was. And even if Baby Shark is annoying, that song is genius in the way that it only uses like three actual notes you’ll need to remember

Alot of even pop songs are very basic short melodies so I’m sure you can have him jukeboxing soon enough

Woke up to 3 beautiful things from the universe. The hot air balloon was back and so beautiful… My baby myna paid me a super early visit this morning. Normally its the mum that comes and flys into my room but this morning her baby came to visit me and have a chat 
the baby is so much calmer than the mum. It kept doing little sneezes! So cute! It let’s me hand feed it. Its so comfortable with me
