Lol maybe my math is bad! I might have messed up on counting the individual days so Iām going to strike the 241 lol. 6-13-2020 is my clean date so Iām going to just start using that. @Piglet is my twin, Iāll see what day count he has and set it straight lol. Have a great day!!!
84 days. In my reading, I see that the 90 day mark is a common place for people to think āI can have one or twoā or āIāve got this beat.ā So, Iām trying to be very intentional about fighting against this thinking. It definitely creeps in occasionally. But Iām also happy to say it doesnāt get very far. The best thing Iāve done in this journey is to get alcohol out of my house and keep it out. Refusing to go to the liquor store is critical. I donāt even drive by it, and when I have to, I refuse to look at it. Honestly, I do feel vulnerable, but I also know that sticking to these rules keeps me safe.
Checking in Day 41! Havenāt had a moment to read through everyones posts, but will spend some time laterā¦ so much to celebrate, you all make my heart burst with excitement .
Off to an AA meeting then ārunningā againā¦but inside. For those like @Mno and @marcusmaximus2000 and @Eleven17 and @Olivia who go outside in this stuffā¦ I tip my stocking cap to you.
My am weather text that I woke up to. Ā°F not Ā°C

Great big congratulations on your 90 days without a cancer stick. That is such a hard nasty habit/addiction to break. It sure is an amazing feeling. Enjoy it and be so proud of yourself. Youāre doing it!!
Checking in at the end of day 41.
It is my last day off work tomorrow - but I feel like Iāve been off for a month, so Iām not too upset at the prospect of going back on Monday.
I mentioned to my wife today that this has been the best holiday of my adult life. We have been together for 23 years, and have shared well over 100 common holidays from work in that time (she is a teacher too), yet this little week in the middle of a pandemic with no ability to travel and limited access to friends has been the best one ever. Amazing what sobriety, a clear head, more energy and an even mood can do for you.
Have a great sober day, wherever you are.
Goodnight.
