Wanted to say hi and compliment you on your courage facing your relapse and coming here to tell us. And also to throw out a little cliche relapse meme or slogan. Whatever.
And then maybe a little unwanted suggestion.
Get rid of the non alcoholic beverages. To me it seems like a common denominator in your relapse. I personally donāt understand why people drink the non alcoholic stuff. I know it can be ok for some. My son for example. I personally Iām afraid to. No interest in it at all. Just a thought. I hope you can work out the rest.
Thank you so much @Dazercat for this. Support and suggestions are helpful and will consider both this week. I donāt touch AF beers in the week, itās for the celebration times that I have it so that I still Have the feeling of being part of it. Iāll meditate on the right path or resource for me. Today was day 1 again and I come humbly, and with hope and enthusiasm for life. Iāve already gained so much from my sober days. Iāll keep working on myself.

Day 188 (I think)
Going to my old lady class today. Got someone coming to watch me today to find out what kind of things I am doing so they can give info to the next person who takes it over. This kind of thing would make me nervous, but feeling pretty chilled about it today.
Sent in a lesson idea to a very small publication. Several rounds of editing are a bit of a pain in the arse, but that is what has to be done.
Day 141. Made some cookies. Snuggled with my dog. Read for a while. Work is cancelled tomorrow due to the winter storm rolling through. Max and I are going to watch Netflix and stay warm and enjoy Lundi Gras at home!

Day 160: Late check in, enjoying the last of this relaxing weekend. Therapy tomorrow, gotta get up early and do some āhomework.ā Procrastinate much? But itās all good. Looking forward to getting down to business this week. Sending love out on this day made for celebrating love.
Checking in day 86. Iāve made it through a rough couple of days, buts itās nice to know I can do hard things. Tomorrowās my recovery dharma meeting and a therapy session, looking forward to processing everything Iāve felt and struggled with this last week.

Day 79! I hope everyone had a good weekend and Valentineās Day. Iāve spent a lot of V Days drunk and/or alone, but not today. Nice to have a low key, sober day with my two loves (boyfriend and dog, haha).
Itās been a couple days since I posted. I may transition to a check in every other day or couple days as Iām feeling very steady, but weāll see.
Iām also trying to not be on my phone as much, although the forum and timer app are more on the positive side of how I use my phone. One thing I started this weekend is a no tv and phone at same time rule. If Iām watching something, I canāt start scrolling at the same time. Too many screens, not enough focus. I watched a movie yesterday and left my phone in the other room. I literally picked lint off my blanket the whole time which made me realize how much of an impulse I had to ādo somethingā while I was supposed to me doing something else! Since I canāt abstain from my phone completely the same way I can from addictive substances Iām trying to lay out some guidelines for myself. So letās says this is Day 2 or actively working with phone habits. I would just like to develop some more discipline around it.
Iām working on the multiple screen time issue, also, and itās a big reason why I knit. I can keep my hands busy while watching a program, and itās a bit meditative, too. Otherwise Iām a lint/dog fur picker, as well!
Glad you are feeling better! And hope the restore finishes up successfully. I always feel for the db and network folks when they need to make it happen after hours. I got some apps moving to prod tomorrow so I hope that goes smoothly. Wish me luck!
