@Dragonflygirl82 It totally makes sense, I feel the same way. I guess when we stopped drinking, our lives improved dramatically, from totally shit to not shit, and we still want that dramatic improvement, but once sober the improvement is from good to better, which feels less dramatic and also takes time.

No romance in my life STILL! Recovery has been good; I fell off for about a week during the beginning of covid so it should be longer than what I have, but that’s ok.

just get it!!! We never once cared about all the money we pissed up and snorted or popped and all of a sudden we’re all careful or too tight to spend it. I buy what I want when I want now, just got my Mrs a £10000 car on pay monthly and its still less than I used to spend on myself. Its time to enjoy life Mike

Thanks man. That’s exactly what I needed to hear. I’m definitely still going Saturday, if the bike is as beautiful as it looks in pics I’m coming home with it. I called the dmv about my license today, everything is all set. All I have to do is send in the 100 dollars now.
