Hello to you lovely bunch of people I’ve had to make a new profile as I’ve not been around for a few months . Today is day 204 for me !!! … Life is very good I finally have a home of my own ! I’ve been very blessed to move back to where I grew up I’m 5 min walk from my parents and I don’t have to hide my dog teddy! I’ve not worked since December due to covid and barber shops not being able to work but I’ve used the time off to make a home and I can honestly say I’ve never been so settled… after loosing every thing through addiction it’s made me realise what’s important in life and that’s my family. I used to think people was selfish for being alcoholic/drug addict … even when I lost my home and children I was still in denial I had a problem! That’s how screwed up this illness is . The past 6 years this terrible disease got worse and worse for me … 2 year ago I realised I had serious addiction problems and found this amazing app I’ve really tried my best to build a new life in recovery and I’ve had a few falls along the way but I’m not a quitter! I’m so blessed today and grateful for this comunity I’m gonna make more effort to check in more often. Don’t ever give up guys . The miricals of recovery are amazing xxx

Soooo 7months and some days…
One has corna virus… Positive test yipppiiieeee…
Saturday I went to a f2f NA meeting… Come Tuesday I get an alert from track n trace to get tested… I have a horrible bark of a cough, can’t fucking taste a thing!!! Currently wearing barely any clothes and I’m sweating…
Now here is the big dilemma, I’m not allowed out have to isoltae But I have no one to walk the pup, had to order online some fluids and light food…
I go one year avoiding the pandemic staying in 95% of the time and the one time I decide to see people as I felt like I was going stir crazy I catch this dam thing.
My chest feels like someone is leaning on it, Lord give me strength anything else you want to fly my way… Since I lost all my weight my health has improved so much but this is horrible on my chest, wheezing and crackling noises…
My saving grace is that my sister has said if I end up in hospital she will come get Luna and that to me speaks volumes on how our relationship is mending…

Bare in mind on Monday I went to Birmingham to see my mother in the psych ward and a solicitor I feel fucking awful. Yes I’ve done the responsible thing and rang them just feel shit!

Love you ladies @Lisa07 I’ll definitely make more effort to check in!!! So pleased your keeping well xx I often think of every one here … I just needed some time to do normal life ! I got my new 2 bedroom home a week before Xmas! It’s just so amazing here there’s lots of country side all around me and I’m so close to my parents. It’s taken Millie a while to adjust to moving away as her dad’s got other children who are little but so far so good were both making it work so she still gets to see her siblings. Have you found a good guy yet ?
